A bucket with a mesh sector on top is rotated 360 degrees along a horizontal axis to allow the finer particles of the bucket contents to be screened out. At the end of each revolution the contents are stopped by a baffle, which holds the contents until the bucket is further rotated, wherein the opening to the bucket is then facing upward. The contents then spill over the baffle and restart their journey around the mesh section of the bucket. This rotation is continued until the smaller particles have all been screened out. Rotating the bucket in the opposite direction then ejects the larger particles. See the videos page to see the Flip Screen in action.

The Flip Screen's simple design consists of high strength steel, high quality hydraulic components, super hi-tensile mesh screens and standard earth contracting tools.

ADVANTAGES
  • SCREENS MANY DIFFERENT SIZES - Many different sizes of mesh screens can be fitted to the Flip Screen allowing it to screen many different materials to many different sizes. Sizes range from 20mm to 150mm (3/4" to 6"). The mesh screens are very easily changed in under 5 minutes by one person without the need for any tools.

  • VERY FAST SCREENING RATE - The Flip Screen has a very fast screening rate. The design of the Flip Screen maximises the screening surface that material travels around each rotation allowing it to process material very quickly.

  • NO SPILLAGE - The Flip Screen does not create spillage. The Flip Screen ensures that material does not fall out after it has been scooped up & until you are ready to screen, ensuring maximum productivity and no contaminiation of your clean screened stockpile.

  • MINIMAL DAMAGE TO CARRIER MACHINE - The Flip Screen has a smooth 360 degree rotating action and does not use any shaking or vibrating - ensuring minimal damage to your carrier machine.

  • EXTREME PORTABILITY - The Flip Screen is very portable and can be taken to almost any site.

  • EASE OF OPERATION - The Flip Screen is very easy to operate. As the scooping motion is the same as the regular scooping action no special training is required for the operator.

  • MINIMISES OVERHEADS - Only one carrier machine and one operator is required with the Flip Screen screening technique ensuring you get the most out of your resources.

  • NO INTERNAL MOVING PARTS - Maximising robustness and reliability.
